Research Interests

Development of political attitudes, radicalization and activism during adolescence, intergroup conflict and prejudice, political communication and conflict resolution



Julia Reiter studied psychology in Freiburg, Göttingen and Amsterdam, as well as law and political science in Freiburg and Göttingen. Since 2020 she has been working on her dissertation on the development and radicalization of political attitudes during adolescence at the University of Vienna. Prior to this, she was employed at the social psychology department of the University of Lausanne, where she collaborated in a project on migrants’ political participation. She is an active member of the GPS’s subgroup for social psychology and the doctoral school’s study commission. For more detailed information, see here.
