The impact of emotions in foreign language learning, individual differences in the language classroom, individual differences in learning, and psychometric test development and validation
CV
Elouise Botes graduated with a PhD in Psychology from the University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg in 2021. Her dissertation examined positive and negative emotions in the foreign language classroom, with a focus on the measurement, interactions, and nomological network of emotion variables. She hold a Master's degree in Organisational Psychology from Stellenbosch University, South Africa and is a registered organisational psychologist in South Africa. She worked as a prae-doc research assistant at the University of Luxembourg from 2017 to 2021 and is now employed as a post-doc research assistant in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Vienna.
