Main areas of work/responsibilities
  • General administrative tasks (information and communication hub between the work areas/departments/DLEs, ensuring the implementation of administrative processes, preparing meetings and retreats, taking minutes, etc.)
  • Budget management for the entire department (control of current income/expenditure, coordinated resource planning and management, interface to DLE Finance & Controlling, etc.)
  • Financial audit (invoice verification, etc.)
  • Assistance to the department management (obtaining signatures, document management, mailings across the department, organization of the department meetings etc.)
  • Validation of all entries in the knowledge database "u:cris" for the entire department, as well as ongoing updating of publications/scientific activities for the professorships of the Educational Psychology
  • Personnel administration (advertisements for new positions/replacements, coordinated service processes of personnel hiring and termination, ongoing support for employees, regular needs analyses with regard to technical equipment for all employees of the team, etc.)
  • Website support for a total of 3 websites and associated web design (e.g. image editing in Adobe Photoshop)
  • Travel expense management
  • Room booking management (u:find, keys, requests, equipment)
  • Organization of guest lectures and supervision of guest lecturers
  • Onboarding of research projects

CV

Selina Marhold has been working at the University of Vienna since October 2014. After two years as an Organizational Assistant at the Department of Economic Law, she moved to the Educational Psychology where she has been working as an Executive Assistant since March 2017.

In 2021, she was nominated for the "training course for high-potential employees of the University of Vienna" and has been selected among numerous submissions.
